he has successfully
built a technical
writing firm
winning national
awards for its
documentation
of telecommunications
equipment
a software-engineering
firm and two training
companies.
He
has operated a
management consulting
practice for twenty
years and is equally
effective working
with senior executives,
political leaders
or with entrepreneurs
building their
first enterprise.
For
example, Bill
as the Consultant
for the Premiers
Advisory Council
on Science and
Technology
led Council members
in developing
the Science
and Technology
Policy for
the Province of
British Columbia.
He
assisted the President
of the U.S.-based
Utilicorp United
Inc.s West
Kootenay Power
Ltd. in establishing
a Leadership Team
from the senior
executives to
provide direction
in preparing the
corporation for
a deregulated
market and as
well led their
management team
in reengineering
the Fleet Services
Group.
Bill
has been active
in nurturing and
supporting the
software industry
in British Columbia.
He was a founding
member of both
the Independent
Computer Consultants
Association
and the Software
Industry Developers
Association.
He chaired the
Industry Review
Committee for
Discovery Enterprises
Inc., a public
venture capital
organization and
was a member of
Kwantlin Colleges
Business Management
Advisory Committee.
